Electro-Mechanical and Mechatronics Technologists and technicians combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuitry. They operate, test, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.

Diesel technicians inspect, maintain, repair and care for diesel engines. Some diesel technicians specialize in a specific type of vehicle. When commercial transportation has malfunctioned, they diagnose the problems and find solutions.

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operators set up and operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically controlled equipment to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools.

Welders fuse and cut metal materials. They can work in several different industries, so welders might build structures or repair existing infrastructure. Welders are employed in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, and oil and gas.

Industrial Maintenance

Industrial machinery mechanics and machinery maintenance workers maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery, such as conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Millwrights install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery in factories, power plants, and construction sites.
